Let’s go on an Adventure! Ancient Landscapes are awaiting to be discovered by you during this small group expedition in May 2020. Together we will conquer the towering red sand dunes in the Namib Desert, dip our feet in the Atlantic Ocearn, learn all from the beautiful Himba people, and experience incredible game sightings in Etosha National Park. We stay in comfortable accommodation, and share this adventure with only 6 of us.

Itinerary

08 May: Pre-safari night in Windhoek
Arrival in Windhoek, meet with the Wildlight Safaris Team, and settle in at your lodge to acclimatise. We will gather for a bite & briefing early evening.

09 & 10 May: Sesriem, Namib Naukluft
Let’s depart for the desert! It is a scenic half day drive with plenty of stops. We climb the towering red sand dunes, we explore canyons and experience incredible sunrises & sunsets in remote scenery

11 May: Swakopmund
We drive to the Atlantic Ocean to the quirky township of Swakopmund. The ocean is raw & rough, with shipwrecks along the coastline.

12 & 13 May: Damaraland
Visit the huge, untamed, ruggedly beautiful region with its iconic ancient rock engravings, deep gorges and prehistoric geographical formations.

14 May: Himba Village
An extraordinary day at the Himba village, while we learn all about traditional living in Namibia from these amazing people.

15 & 16 May: Etosha National Park
2 action packed days in Etosha National park where we will experience wildlife at its best! Spot Rhino, Lion, Elephants, Zebra and many more species at the various watering holes, have camera at hand.

17 May: return to Windhoek
At leisure we will head back to Windhoek for onward travel or we can arrange another night here to digest this incredible adventure.
